Michael Hirsch was born 1969 in Göttingen, Germany.

He studied visual communication
at the university of applied sciences Bielefeld, Germany,

where he graduated in 1996
with a diplom degree in photography.

After starting out as a freelance photographer in Germany,he moved to Paris where he is currently living and working.
